3 simple habits to always stay healthy

Uptill now, I used to focus only on developing my intellect and other things that were related to mind. Mind was my main object to play with and I ignored my body for that reason. I ignored my body’s needs and focused all my will power and desire to sharpen my mind.

But now, I regret it.

I ignored the fact that our body is also mind. I realized that without a healthy body the mind cannot be healthy. And when I look at all the 20 things that are making me feel like shit, I’ve noticed that their roots somehow point towards the physical body & health. Now I know that the health of the body can be the greatest barrier in developing a super conscious mind & intellect.

Then again, I started journalling and to my fascination I became aware of the fact that to be healthy I have to do only 3 things! Wait.. What? Only 3? That’s crazy! Yea.. Right.

1. Hydration Drink enough water.

(I am not going to explain it’s effect on our body, you can read a plenty on the net)

2. Nutrition Enough food should be consumed.

When I say enough, I mean not more nor less than needed. Also, a superior or high quality human being which I am, without any efforts always chooses to eat the right food. If you are a Hugh quality human being, clean up your diet, junk suits only shitty people.

3. Stress Management

Stress is caused by emotions. And emotions need to be released via body as I have declared in the previous newsletter (if you missed that read it here) So to manage my stress I either workout/yoga/stretching or journal. Working out releases stress physically and journalling does the same thing, instead it uses verbal energy to diffuse stress. This also increases motivation levels, energy, cognitive abilities and happiness.

By keeping my body healthy I can double or maybe triple the abilities of my mind. That’s what I want. I want to become the best version of myself.

And a key note, health and fitness are different so don’t get me wrong.

How to never get frustrated again?

Don’t expect, and there will be no frustration. Frustration is just a shadow which follows expectation.

The above statement is enough to convey my message of today’s newsletter.

But I am Aman Varma, all I do is provide value. I ALWAYS OVER DELIVER, as I mentioned it in my latest eBook, I bless “kaisen” all over the world. That’s just who I am.

A quick story:

A few years ago, When I was 16-17 years of age, I got habitual to getting frustrated. I went through a ton of drama, miseries and emotional breakdowns. That time all I had wanted was a shoulder to lean on, and that was my “expectation mindset” that I slapped on the face of every human being I came in contact with.

I was expecting “certain feelings” from OTHERS to feel good about myself.

I expected love, warmth, comfort and nourishment and guess what? It always backfired.

When people sense that you want something from them – they back off. They never give.

The statement – Don’t expect, and there will be no frustration.

Frustration is just a shadow which follows expectation.

Is a universal law!

When I realised this, I was never frustrated again and this is also true with events and circumstances in my life.

NEVER EXPECT ANYTHING.

If you keep expectations be ready to get frustrated and disappointed.

Share with me if you have experienced such a phenomenon in life. I’ll be happy to listen to it.

Contemplating your death

You’ll Die Soon and have no time for regret

Within a blink of an eye, the people you love can be gone. You’d never see’em again, ever.

You never know what disaster can happen in a fraction of a second.

Ancient Philosophers resembling the “stoic” community made use of the technique known as “contemplation of your own death” to live a worthy life. They used to cultivate the habit of thinking that they are dead already and the day they are living today is the bonus they received from god.

This mindset made them grateful for everything and gave them the strength to wear their heart on sleeve and connect deeply with the loved ones by expressing authentic feelings without any resistance or shame/ego/guilt.

This technique was also used by Steve Jobs due to which he made extraordinary results.

The most painful goodbyes are the ones that are never said or explained.

This technique has proven to help a million people become superior and high quality beings. There is no reason you shouldn’t act upon it.

Do it today.

Best person in your life

NEWSLETTER #30 💭

The best person in your life is the one you will think about after you read this post.

Yesterday while pondering upon random things I realised this..

💡 When we miss someone, we don’t miss the actual person but the feelings that person gave us in past. We miss the way we felt and the people we became when we were with him or her.

Break that statement & read it again.

After this when I did a little research I found it to be true. Well, nothing fascinating to me, usually I get many realisations that when crosschecked often turns out to be true. That’s a natural gift I am born with, maybe.

We like to miss the way someone made us feel rather than the way he or she acted and treated us. We remember the way people affected us and not the people themselves.

Sure, we remember the things they did that made us feel the way we felt, but in reality, we are honing in on the resulting emotions, not the causal actions.

Who are you thinking about right now? That person is important in your life. Ego aside. Tell them their importance. Maybe drop a message to them right now.

Regards,

Aman Varma ☺

Hate and love the same person?

Hate & love the same person? Confused a little? Disturbed a little? Mixed feelings for the same person?

Not anymore. I’ve struggled with this, finally cracked this psycho-emotional mingle.

Let me tell you if you think you hate & love the same person, then that is not true.

It’s not the case. The fact is that you love that person but hate his behavior/attitude which gets in the way of your ego to be satisfied.

That’s a whole lot of wisdom soaked in that one line. Beleive me. I’ve experienced it. I’ve said it.

So how do you deal with such a situation?

To be exact, ditch your ego. Understand that your ego is playing games and messing up your with your intelligence & emotions. You are doing the things just to satisfy your ego.

You are being needy here. You are expecting things from that person. You are decreasing your vibes to “scarcity mode” and that is why you get jealous if that person pays more attention to the other person, if he/she neglects you and doesn’t meet your expectations or any behavior of his/her that doesn’t fit your perspective frame.

Remember, your ego destroys your peace of mind by messing up with your emotions & intelligence.

Effect of Thought on Circumstances

Newsletter #21 Effect of Thought on Circumstances: As a Man Thinketh

“The outer conditions of a person’s life will always be found to be harmoniously related to his inner state. This does not mean that a man’s circumstances at any giving time are an indication of his entire character, but that those circumstances are so intimately connected with some vital thought-element within himself that, for the time being, they are indispensable to his development.”

Essentially, that we are where we are based on our thoughts and our actions. Not that external factors don’t have influence, but that on balance we are each the master of our own destiny.
