How to achieve new year’s resolutions?

I get a lot of questions, boiling down to one point and that is – “WHY AM I NOT ABLE TO ACHIEVE ANY GOAL THAT I SET FOR MYSELF”

And in this blog I look forward to share with you a few reasons why you can not achieve any goals and what you need to do about it! Let’s dive in straight and crack the codes of goal setting!

“I am proud to say that I have achieved all my goals this year in 2016, but that’s not it! I have been achieving all my goals from last 3 years! Never went a year went I failed to reach a target!”

Reasons you are not able to achieve your goals:

  1. You don’t want it BAD ENOUGH. (No arguments, if you did want it badly enough, then, today you would have achieved it)
  2. It won’t affect your daily life, if you failed to achieve it. (Does it even matter or does it even make a difference if you fail to achieve it? You are not serious enough!)
  3. You don’t have a reason to achieve it. (You don’t have an inspiring reason to make that dream/goal come true.)

TRICKS I USE TO ACHIEVE GOALS, THAT WORKS EVERYTIME!

  1. Find your GENUINE REASON to achieve that goal. Know your WHY? Come up with atleast 10 reasons for it.
  2. NEGATIVE VISUALIZATION:  Visualize the worst happening to you, if you fail to achieve the target. Make your brain suffer and realise that if you fail to achieve your goal, then you will have to pay a high price for it and go through lot of pain. Your brain will start doing it’s work.. (I am not going to explain the psychological reasons behind doing this)
  3. POSITIVE VISUALIZATION: Visualize the best happening to you, if you achieve the target what will be your rewards?. Make your brain feel joy & confidence and realise that if you achieve your goal, then you will enjoy the fruits and it will elevate your self esteem. Keep on repeating the benefits and positive effects of you achieving your goals. feel the pride and all the happiness you’ll get from it. Your brain will start doing it’s work.. (I am not going to explain the psychological reasons behind doing this)
  4. COMMITMENT. Commit to yourself that you will achieve your goals, no matter what happens or comes in your way. You will achieve it! A 100℅ committed goal. No second choice for you. No option to give up or procrastinate. You have to do it anyhow because of the reasons, pain and rewards stated by you above.

We’ll that it! I was able to achieve all my goals for 4 years persistently just because of these 4 hacks!

  • First, I made a COMMITMENT.
  • Second, I made it clear WHY I need to do it.
  • Third, I associated PAIN to it, if I don’t do it.
  • Fourth, I associated PLEASURE to it, if I do achieve it.

Now, that you have known the hacks let me tell you this-

The moment you do the above, your mind sets your target as a priority. When your priorities are set, your mind thinks about it all the time, this way you are sure to manifest your target because you don’t have yo focus on it.. it becomes your default setting to achieve it.

It doesn’t matter what you goal is, it can be weight loss, better health, better relationship, more productive, more knowledge, or any damn thing! This applies to all kinds of goals. If you want it bad enough, it becomes easier to achieve any goal!
